Exterior Deterioration?

Does anyone on the forum know what's going on with the top of my trailer? I only bought it last year from the original owner and didn't see the problem at that time.

I've read various things on this and other sites about plasticoat etc but am still unsure of what is my problem and how I can fix it?

In MY OPINION, if the clearcoat is peeling off of the top, either leave it, or strip it off and paint it or polish it. Having the clearcoat re-done is expensive.

I am going to strip mine and polish. Some year.
