Exterior Blue Vinyl Trim

Hi. I'm Danno. New member to the Airstream Forums.

I have a 1974 Sovereign 31 ft. I need to replace the blue vinyl trim that wraps around the center of the exterior about 3/4 inch wide; and around the bottom about 1 1/8 inch wide. Does anyone know where I can get replacements?

I dont think they are available from AS anymore, you can try a paint detail shop they may be able to get it for you.

Danno.
The blue rub rail and belt lines inserts are still available.
However, Airstream some time back had it packaged in 50 foot rolls and substancially raised the prices.
The good news is when they run out of the rolls, they will return to the old method of selling it to dealers in 500 foot rolls, at a drop in price.
The bads news is no one knows when this will happen.

For what it's worth and, it cost plenty~
Andy is right..You can get it from A/S but....last summer I bought some at a cost well over 1.OO PER FEET~! (Seems to me that it was 1.50 but, without looking at my sales slip...)

Just installed the blue vinyl trim all around the A/S. I had to drill out the the old rivets holding down the end pieces. Used 1/8 medium and long rivets, goes on like a charm using this wedge tool that, I picked up from Airmark~The ole "Silver Turtle" lookin kewl now~!
