Found it at a storage yard near Detroit and bought it for the cost of overdue back rent.
Anyone care to guess the year and model?
Actually it's pretty nice inside except the PO removed the front sofa and one of the twin beds to make room for two gunsmithing workbenches.
There's some nice shiny aluminum peeking out where the paint is flaking and peeling. How much of a job to strip it and what to use? Aircraft stripper?
Or, with deer season just around the bend, would now be the perfect time to sell it as is? It's not the little one I was searching for.

Rog, that looks like a 1966-67-68 model. The windows and tail light assembly give it away.
Do you have a picture of the plate under the forward curb side window, right next to the door?? If not how about a measurement of the overall length. That will narrow the models it could be.

Dang, Rog, you sure you want that guy's trailer? If he sees it in your yard, and we already know he's into guns... I'd hide it behind the house for sure!

Stef, there must have been at least 20 full ammo boxes in there. The yard owner assured me all will be removed before I pick it up. The PO signed off the title and told him to go ahead and sell it. I guess the guy must have spent all his money on ammo and shell loading gear. Looks like he was preparing for WWIII. I have already named the trailer "Rambo".
Ed, you are probably right. I have no desire to spend a lot of time on stripping the paint and will probably offer it up for sale "as is" after I sweep out all the gunpowder. There really is a nice old trailer underneath that camouflage.

Amazing, is it pretty straight skin under all that - it's hard to tell through all the paint. Too bad they painted the windows too, probably didn't want anyone peeking in at his gunshop!
I'm a little stumped on the year. Pre-69 for sure, but the nametag on the front doesn't look like the one on my 68. The other details are hard to pick out through that mind-boggling paint scheme.
It is an Ambassador and titled as a '69 although it looks more like a '68. The '68 was 28' and the '69 29', so I'll measure it when I get it home (assuming I can find it again).
