decal replacement

I have a 1992 350 le motorhome and need to remove and replace decals. whats the best way to do this?

You can get the decals themselves off with a heat gun. Then you have to contend with the glue that held the decals on. I was stripping mine to polish, so I used paint stripper to get the glue off. You might be able to get the glue off with alcohol so as not to harm the clear coat.

Decals lift with lots of heat. I presume you have an aluminum unit so I will leave someone who has done it to give advice. F/g units don't like some of the exotic paint remover.
