Covers for Airstreams?

Will this ADCO Tyvek cover work for my '07 Airstream International? Or, is there a better product suited for Airstreams? Thanks!

no covers!

The folks in the "know" say NO covers on an Airstream. It works against the aluminum, just like a brillo scrub pad and leaves scuff marks. I am sure you can do a search on this and find out the rest of the story.

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

I think that you will find that most long time Airstreamers would recommend against covering an Airstream.

I would never cover cover Lucy unless she was stored indoors in a climate controlled environment. Generally speaking, covers do more damage than good.

Air or a rigid structure. No covers! The flapping will tear up your finish and aluminum.

Don't cover, I know from 1st hand experience scratches on all top corners and where one lower corner somehow got pulled up a hole clean through the skin from a gromet.

There are others who say no problem they have done it for years.

Wind "will" move the cover causing scratches.
