Clear Coating Roof

So as I sit here looking at my as in the rain I noticed how nice the roof looks. The clearcoat has pretty much broken down to the point where the roof looks white, the rest of the trailer is in relatively good shape. I was going to paint it white in the fall, but then I came across this product, Diamond Clear from I would brush it on to give it the wet look that I'm seeing now. It can be applied over any coating, its flexible, downside?
