Argosy28 Paint Scheme Ideas

We just brought our Argosy28 home yesterday. I know most of you keep yours original but I want something different as I plan to keep the ole gal for a long long time. We are toying with the idea of changing to paint scheme on the outside to something a little more modern and a little easier to keep clean.

How many of you have changed the look of the outside? If so can you include pictures?

Suggestions? I am open to any.

there has been a few threads about paint color

But it comes down to what you like. However, there was an interesting thread here somewhere about what exterior colors heated up the interior more. White was the coolest. Polished aluminum was a contender. Fairly scientific tests were done by Andy R. and maybe another forum member.

Well for looking clean Light Pewter Metallic would work well and shouldn't be too bad for heat, it was common on cars and trucks but not Airstreams. I would suggest sticking with a light color for the roof and upper sides, if you went with a darker color for the lower sides it shouldn't be to bad for added heat.

Thanks for the input. My husband has told me it's up to me to decide what color and how I want it painted. I find several of other type of MH I like the colors or scheme but just can't make up my mind what I want to do. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I agree that the lighter color for the top & roof is a good point. That helps narrow it down a little for me.

I will have to research the other threads. I am new to the board so still in the learning phase of how to navigate everything.

My input may be bias but I chose this for my renovation.

I have the motorhome. I am thinking about going with an updated paint scheme.
I am going to visit my parents this weekend. I am going to print out several pictures so I can take it and my dad & I can brainstorm to come up with an idea. I will post our choice when I get back home for opinions.
