Anybody used Zep floor finish on their aluminium body?

Have been reading a lot on how RVers uses Zep floor finish to revitalize and restore their RV's shine. Just curious if anyone has used Zep floor finish on their airstream's aluminium body. Some claims that the Zep literally creates a gelcoat like barrier that protects their RVs however I haven't read any that used on aluminium... anyone tried?

I haven't used the Zep product. It is always interesting to learn about others experiments looking for a better way.

I can say that I have been satisfied with the polymer sealants like Nu Finish for my polished Airstream. It offers pretty good protection for the year, and I found it doesn't tend to haze the polish job. My test was smearing some on a mirror, let it dry, and then wipe it off. If it hazed the mirror, then I don't use it.

Maybe someone has discovered a good sealant with the Zep product.

Has it done to the Foretravel motorhome that I just sold. The gell coat was dull and lifeless. After washing and then a thorough going over with TCP, 6 coats of liquid acrylic floor finish ( not Zep but a professional product with higher solids content) was applied using micro fiber cloths.

It was dry by the time one cost was done, so all six coats went on with 2 people in 3 hours (36' coach). Very, very shiny and lasted at least 6 months (sold the bus).

Just apply very thin coats. Avoid drips at all costs because they DO NOT come out except with sanding.
