Airstream Logo Letters

Our 2004 Airstream's logos located on the front, rear, and both sides are comprised of separate letters. How are they attached to the skin, hopefully adhesive? Some these have become a little distorted and need some attention, probably look better replaced.
Thanks
Rod

The letters are attached with nuts to the back side of the exterior skin. Mine were pretty torn up so I am looking for replacements. I'll let you know if I find them.

The newer trailers are attached by an adhesive. I've seen the letters and they are mounted on a front and back clear strip. This keeps the letters perfectly spaced. You peel away the backing and lift the letters in mass which are now held by the front strip onto the area of the trailer you wish to mount on. Once they are stuck to the trailer, you peel off the front strip.

As the lettering on my 2002 ASCL 31' has deteriorated, I've just removed it (adhesive backed) without replacing; gives the coach a much "cleaner" look in my opinion.

They are readily available from AS store or dealer. When I had my 2007 in for replacement of the rear upper sections, the identical one to production was no longer available. The replacement was less gray and more silver. I noticed the difference after I got home from JC and called the service center. They sent me the matching one for the front....NO CHARGE!

They are as Jack describes and easy to install.

My Airstream letters front and back are tarnished, is there any way to polish them? I've tried brasso with steel wool, but it doesn't touch the tarnish
