AIRSTREAM emblem spacing

If someone could measure the spacing between the AIRSTREAM emblems it would sure help me out. I'm guessing around 1/2". My Globetrotter came with painted Airstream plates (severe corrosion under plates) but I think the emblems look better. I am making a drill jig but not sure what the correct spacing is.

I suspect the WBCCI page may have that information. If someone doesnt chime in I will try to dig up the instructions that came with my numbers.

I'm looking for the cast aluminum AIRSTREAM emblem spacing not the WBCCI numbers spacing, but thanks anyway.

Are you reffering to the individual letters that say Airstream on the front and rear or something else.??
I have a 70 Globetrotter that would most likely be the same.

Yes the individual letters that say AIRSTREAM on the front and back of the trailer. I'm not sure which year the letters came off of, as I obtained them in a trade.

I will try to get measurements tomorrow (if it gets above 20 degrees)You probably need a center to center number to allow the differences between letters

C/L to C/L would work or the the spacing between the letters at the closest point.

Here it is off the front of my 70 globetrotter

Overall length of letters 29 in. outside

its cold here, took a quick glance at the back and didn't see any letters.

Thought there were some so will check again.. I bought the darn thing in 82.. Should know these things

Spacing between letters at closest point . all are 1 inch
All measured at bottom except the "T" measures from top bar

Hope that helps.

I have seen a few of these trailers with the nameplate but think most had individual letters. Must be a story here
