Wow - I feel like I have not been taking care of my little Stream after looking at all this fine polishing and upkeep.

Time to get polishing and waxing!@!@

Question Dexter bake issue resolved...

Received this email several day's ago...

Mr. Crosse,

In our review of your parts bill, we do not see a name who the parts were
sold to. Is there anyway that you can send us something that has your name
on the parts bill for these parts? We also cover 43.78 which is our retail
price for a S&L kit. Therefore, we will cover 43.78 x 4-brakes which
totals 175.12, plus 15.32 for sales tax.

If you can send me something from Ballards Camping Center that shows your
name, I can then process a check in the amt. of 190.44 as stated. I am
assigning our warranty claim number xxxxwcxxxx for the tracking of this
claim. Also, in addition to the repair bill that needs to state your name,
you will need to also provide us with your complete mailing address so we
know where to send your check.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Best Regards,

Connie Massie
Warranty Administrator
Dexter Axle Co.

I sent the requested receipts and am awaiting the check...it's in the mail, believe it when it gets here.

POI...saved the cores for the next replacement...riveted shoes going back on.

Yes...I was told it took "time" for the warranty department to process, but more importantly, they stood behind the product and did the right thing.

Thumbs up Another handy product for the AS tool kit.....

Comes out like aerosol cheeze whiz...
A little goes a long way, no waste, no leaky tube.

sticky window gaskets, those pesky plastic cupboard latches, bulb base's, door striker, pantry slides, weather strips, LPG connector threads, 7-way connector.......

Pretty easy to find here in the Buffalo area as Well-Worth is based here.

Give it the google and see if it's available in your area.

I sat through the Dexter Axel "seminar" at Alumapalooza. I found the presenter to be an honest and interesting guy. I came away impressed with the company and the impression I have is that they are good people.
Nice to know that they walk the walk too....

Lock on propane housing door?

Hello all. I was under the inpresion that it was against Federal DOT or a simular regularatory agency, to have a lock on the propane compartment door so that in case of an emergency it would become inaccesable.
I know on my many RV there was never a lock on the propane conpartment, while all the other compartments had locks.

The exterior plastic moldings, the ones that are supposed to shine, but instead just grows a lot of green stuff.

The entrance door grab handle, a relative of the battery door surrounds.

The dirty grey rear bumper cover, that resists most attempts at dressing up.

And the latch for the LPG cover that loves to come undone.

Needed only three helpers...3M Fine liquid compound,(a pretty darn good metal polish), my favorite paint sealer smeared on everything, and a mini Master Padlock.

Only thing left today is to actually do the wash job, then the DW can get the interior ready for our anu-anal Leef-Peek'n Tour.

Now that's something I wasn't aware of. Thank's

The spring had broken and it was just an easy way to keep the cover closed, I imagine a good tug on the lock would pull the whole latch off anyway.
