'69 Overlander Exterior Parts

I need a small piece of exterior trim that goes around the leading edge of the fender well on my 69 Overlander. My restoration is going fairly well so far, and this id the one thing I haven't been able to find. As usual I'm probably looking under the wrong rock.

Can you post a pic of the trim?

That casting has not been available from Airstream for many years.

Best bet would be a salvage yard.

You might try to jig sawing one out of a piece of aluminum. The groove will be harder to duplicate.

Its a cast part, only this side is missing. Here is a picture of the rear side of the same fender, I'm only missing the one. If I can't find it salvage, I'll take the other one off and make my local machine shop again.

That casting is on all the models from 1969 to 1973.

Sorry, we do not have a list of salvage places, that handle Airstreams.
