1947-48 Aistream Emblem help

I have a 1947 Airstream 22' linner . On the 47's and 48's there is a brass Airstream emblem under the back window. Most of the people on hear don't know what I'm talking about they think Im talking about a vin tag or a flat peace of aluminum that say airstream on it.
If you know someone who has one or you have one yourself, can I please borrow it to take measurements and pictures so that I may make some for myself and others. I will pay you if that helps. Please I'm not going to scam you. Look up on google images under 1947 Airstream or 48 the vintage picture of they guy pulling the AS with his bike has the emblem under the front window.

Thanks James Walker

I have already started working on a pattern to have some of these made for me.
I am an out of work machinist and thought I might be able to make a buck or two on these.

Do you have a time frame on when you will have the emblems done?

Richard I check eBay all the time for them as well. I always get outbid, you would think they where made out of gold or something.

Don't know if you saw it, but one of these just sold on ebay a couple of weeks ago. Someone must have arranged a side deal because it sold before the auction ran its course. The interesting thing was that the seller (who claimed to have had it on his garage wall for years) said that it had come off an old decaying trailer (many years ago and long since disposed of) that dated back to the thirties and had windows on the end that looked like eyes. Doesn't that get your imagination going!

Yeah I saw it on eBay I was also surprised about his description on the trailer he got the emblem off of. I wonder if anyone contacted him and asked about that trailer some more. I wrote to him and asked why he pulled the auction early and got no answer.

Are you going to make these out of bronze? A two piece mold could crank out the wax for the casting easy as could be.
