Word Challenge Two
This is similar to the original word challange but expanded to 5 letter words. Using the word given, make a new word by changing one letter. If you can make a new word without changing any letters that is acceptable too.

There are 11,881,376 different 5-letter combinations out of a list of 26 letters, if the order of the letters is not important, and one may use the same letter multiple times.
Formula: 26^5
However, I do not know how many of the 11,881,376 5-letter combinations are pronounceable, let alone an actual word.
For example, the combination wcqrk is not pronounceable, and tagze may be pronounceable, but I doubt whether it is a word in the English language.
Does anyone know an approximate number of 5-letter actual English words there are?
Then - from there, it would be interesting if there is a math genius - or rather a statistician - among us, that could put something together about the likelihood and probability of how many posts it would take to ensure having used each of those words at least one time.
This post will be #3,995 - approaching #4,000 - and I think George Carlin once said thee are 400,000 words in the English language - but nothing about how many had only 5 letters...
Well - there are 4,084,101 possible combinations of the 21 consonants without vowels involved - none of which make up a word. Those can be subtracted:
11,881,376 - 4,084,101 = 7,797,275
Of these, 3,125 are combinations made up entirely of vowels:
7,797,275 - 3,125 = 7,794,150
Now - how do I get from there?
