Who likes to fish?

Who likes to fish. Are you really into it. If you stop at every tackle shop you pass, and have a Bass Pro awards card, you're into fishing.

Any one have favorite places to go. My two favorites are the Chesapeake Bay (stripers) and Indian River Lagoon (redfish) in Florida. I don't go anywhere without a fishing rod. I own a Maverick 17 MA. ( if you're into it you know what that is)

Tuolumne to Agnew Meadows, Day 4 & 5: Nydiver & Iceberg Lakes and hike out | Calipidder

Nydiver Lakes, favorite high altitude spot for the best Golden trout in my life. Found it quite by accident. Very steep, negligible trail access but worth every minute of it. Nearly every cast came up with a beautiful golden fish just as the sun was going down around the alpine lake. Rate it as my best fishing day ever.........

Maybe we can trade trips some day. I keep a 25 Grady-White on the Chesapeake. Fall striper fishing is good; usually trolling, but sometimes fly rod is ok. Also I have a Maverick I take down to the Indian River/Mosquito Lagoon, FL. I can usually put you on reds and trout, but to catch them with a fly rod, you have to be able cast a fly 75 ft., accurately. Last two guys I took (my daughter's boyfriend and a buddy) couldn't cast accurately. Reds in that area are plentiful, but spooky.

yeah i've made some good connections in louisiana. fishing for reds in kayaks...just haven't managed to get my ass down there yet. i think this coming fall i'll shoot down there. if you're ever out this way in the summer look me up. i spend just about every waking moment on one river or another around here.
