A fool and his money are soon parted, but where the heck would a fool get money in t'first place -'less it'd be from a bigger fool? If we're all fools t'some degree, then all money must come from the biggest fools. Wouldn't that be the government? ~ Uncle Floyd

Speaking of being a danger to yourself, this reminds me of what I used to tell some of other the other guys in the locker room or restroom when doing their business, I'd tell them that they better put that "thing" away before they end hurting themselves.

A soldier's perspective according to which branch of service they are in:

An Army peon grunt in foxhole while it's raining-- "This sucks."

Army Ranger in the same foxhole-- "I love how this sucks!"

A Marine in the same foxhole, "I wish it would suck some more!"

Naval personnel on battle ship while shelling the war zone, 23 miles away, "I bet it sure does suck over there!"

Air Force pilot 3 miles above the war zone, "I bet it sure sucks down there and it's about to suck some more!"

Air Force Airman while setting in hotel room, "Only 13 channels on cable T.V. over here, man, things really suck!"
