How long is a piece of string?
Hi, this is one of my favorites. While working at the dealer we/I would get lots of phone calls, from customers, with many questions about their vehicle. And many times we would tell them that we could not answer their questions with out actually seeing their vehicle. But the questions kept on comeing. Finally, I would ask them, if I could ask them one question. And they always said yes. "I have a piece of string in my hand; Can you tell me how long it is?" And they would say, "well no, I can't see it." Long silent pause. "OK I understand, I will bring my car in so you can see it."
