He'd rather climb to the top of a fifty foot pole to tell a lie than stay on the ground and tell the truth.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention to arrive safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: Wow!! What a ride!

Hi,

"You in your car sitting behind me honking your horn doesn't make my car go; Pressing my right foot on the little pedal on the right does!!!!!"

This is great, there are two favorites that frost my pumpkins:

"This call may be monitored for quality assurance."

Yea, right...Trust me here, there is nobody listening to this call to help quality.

Translated: we probably dont know the answer and wont really help you so as a sign of our quest for quality, remain on hold and you can experience the other line that frosts my pumpkings

"Is there anything else I can help you with today"

Well, no, as a matter of fact you were unable to help me with my original problem, why would I ask you to NOT help me again with some other problem?

Jnerges: question.

Are frosted pumpkins seasonal, insofar as hot climes could possibly result in toasted eggplants?

Hey you............... chill out a bit.
Nothing in life demands confrontation, only result is more angst.
I agree, life is hard and I assure you, I personally have experienced more than my fair share. Such is life, I deal with it and move on.

Reality is, everyone deals with life in their own way. RED CAPS you need to deal with.

Love:
If this is a response to the post above, I think you need to lighten up a bit. It was a funny saying that I have heard used, and have used, where I use to work. I have even said it about myself when I do something that was obviously a bad idea.
This thread was about sayings, wasn't it? The red Caps, I though it stood out better, nothing else.

It's just a saying, sorry if it hit home. Geez.

"Hey You" ??????? Is that how you address people? I have a name.

BTW: If you don't like confrontation, Don't EVER come to NJ. (that's a joke about NJ in case you don't get my humor)

The above is one of the undeniable truths of life. (A hard yet certain truth!)

Another one that a friend used to always say:

"If you can't laugh at yourself, you'll never be successful in life!"

or

"Don't take yourself too seriously!"
