Whenever someone in in-laws family asked where I or my wife learned something about outdoors or camping, some "trick" or useful (useless) knowledge, my wife and I always reply "Common knowledge". Now our kids use that excuse.

From a cab driver in New Orleans

Years back sharing a cab from the airport, the cabbie was telling us all about various things to do in the french quarter. There was a passenger with us who was a little sour and not too excited about the music, food, etc.

The cabbie said "well honey, if you can't have fun in New Orleans, maybe you just can't have fun"
