dinner out: french bread, house salad w/blue cheese dressing; prime rib au jus, baked potatoe w/butter; lime sherbert..oh and a margarita for appetizer!
Tonight will be Takeout:
An INCREDIBLEHome-Cured, Thick Sliced Bacon Pizza from our local spot: Smith's Pizzaria in Norfolk, NY 315-384-4399. I don't know if they'll ship, but it would be worth a call. [Disclaimer: I have no financial interest in this establishment.]
Tonight it's 6 lbs of slow-cooked [24 hrs in the crockpot with my special spices and beer] pulled pork tenderloin BBQ on toasted bulkie rolls, with a side of my coleslaw and 3 bean salad. My wife, my Dad [86] and his companion, and that's a nice family meal. Mmmmmmmmm...! Some for now and 2 batches in the freezer. Wish I could share it with all of you!
mmmm lots of great dishes here. On the simpler side for us, we had pot roast and mashed potatoes. Meat and potatoes and bread and butter is favorite fare around here.
Paula...this is an old thread. There must be an awfull lot of leftovers out there by now. Say, how about the whole pig that Steve barbequed at your place last year. That was soooo good, Thanks. Tonight I have lamb chops on the bar-bee as I write this. Tomorrow (Fri) Lynn and I are driving to Oakland to celebrate my birthday (Sun) with our daughter, son in law and grandsons. It will be my 70th BD.
Neil...see you at Casini.
