What are the TOP Airstreams made? Fun Thread.
In your opinion? From weird to Historic to just Funny....
I know about the N.A.S.A Airstream and the "Golden Airstream plus others, just wondering which ones impressed you the most. Or just sticks out when you think of the history of Airstreams
Pictures or Links would be even more awesome.

Not WHO"S is best.
Notice the word "FUN"

I love the 54 - 56 Front Kitchen Safari
The Bubble and the early 50's Flying Clouds.
These are all very unique in their own right.
As for newer I really love the 75 Anniversary Edition.
Now how do I go about convincing my husband we need one of each?

I have always been a huge fan of the trailers in my yard also. My 62 has been an absolute work horse. We have ridden her hard since we got her.
I also love my two 54 Safari. Though not usable at present, they will be someday. I am very fond of what I have, however, there are a few I wish were mine. They all belong to friends of mine...
There is Deborah's 55 Bubble, Ruby. I have a serious crush on Ruby.
I also an totally enamored with Mr Perkins, 1954 Byam Holiday. I would almost trade a child for this trailer. Well, I am exaggerating, but I would call on my line of credit if ever given the opportunity.
I have also become deeply smitten by my current project. She is a 1964 Double Door.

When we visited Jackson Center December 2009 to make our annual AS Donation, I really liked the three old ones out front. I called them the Three Sisters.
The two-door one was IMHO the coolest though. They weren't open for touring inside, but I would guess most of the charm on that one is the exterior; it looks to old to be "cute" inside.

Hi, none of these are mine, but unique in their own way. I will try to post two pictures of each.
The first pictures are of Blue Betty spotted at the Long Beach airport. [Jet Blue Airlines]
The second two pictures are of an Airstream that was permitted by the city of Seal Beach to be part of a permanent house.
The third set of pictures are of an Antique [1936] Airstream inside of the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles.

It is actually very cute inside. There is a great deal of birds eye maple used and the interior was very modern and comfortable just like a luxurious house.
I was looking for my photos of the Granddad but you beat me to the punch.

That styling alwasy make me think of the submarine (the Nautilus) in the Disney picture, "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea".
It looks evil, somehow
