I was looking for my photos of the Granddad but you beat me to the punch.
I'll take your word for it, Frank, never having had the occasion to see it!

Thumbs up

I am very partial to the early Clippers (and "Old Granddad" specifically at the Ohio Factory where I used to be enamored with it even as a small child attending the first factory rally).

The pre-Airstream Bowluses are amazing...it is really interesting to see the evolution of these old riveted trailers.

The most unique, I would say, is the 13' Der Klein Prinz as seen at the RV/MH Museum in Elkhart, IN. That sucker is so small, it looks like it could be comfortably towed by a motorcycle. I am surprised that AS has not come out with a small, traditional AS shaped retro trailer in the interest of continually rising fuel prices...the Base Camp does not count. That thing is kinda retro toward the original Torpedo trailers, but in a not so pretty way.

Just my opinion...

I also really like a certain '64 Bambi II in the driveway...a small AS I could atually afford and will look forward to applying gallons of sweat equity to!
