Simple Drawings Anyone?

My sister has a project she's working on for us Airstreamers. She needs a good, simple drawing of a classic Airstream to use as a pattern. Anyone have a good resource for this kind of thing? I can't give away what she's making, but I think a lot of you will love it! I'll post pictures of it here after she finishes one & see if there is any interest here. I've got my order in for the first one! Thanks in advance.....

Sounds interesting Becky! I would be careful though...Airstream is very posessive of both their name & trailer images. If what you have in mind infringes on either you may find yourself in for a legal wrestling match.

Good luck in finding what you are looking for~

Here's an idea, but you did not hear about it from me! Take a straight on side photo of the trailer in question, print it out, lay tracing paper over the print and trace what you need. If you need a pattern any bigger, find an overhead projector, transfer the tracing to a clear piece of acetate, shine the projector on a smooth wall, moving the projector to or away from the wall will change the size of the image. When I first started making signs in 1987, this is how all sign patterns were made, now we use computers and do very little by hand.

Good Luck and be careful, copyright laws are for real!!
