Another Arizona Sunset

On our way back to Tucson...stopped at one of our favorite spots for the night as a "last hurrah" for this trip (Cottonwood and Prescott, AZ)...we are the only campers in the loop as it is a bit warm here already...92 today... The good news is that we have it all to ourselves....

Tonight's sunset...

If this one looks familiar, it's also my avatar. You need to click on the photo and go full screen to get the full effect.

Wow, what great photography!

David, have you tried HDR to work on dynamic range? I've got Photomatix on my wish list (though it's probably going to be a while before I get it)!

HDR photo software & plugin - Tone Mapping, Exposure Blending & HDR Imaging for photography

Like you, I haven't bought the program yet. And, even if I had it, there is much of my prior work that wouldn't lend itself well to it because I don't have the multiple bracketed exposures necessary for the blending. I am compelled to migrate that way though in the digital world.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Same here! But it'd sure be fun to plan specific (future) shots with blending in mind.

Wow! Fabulous shots in this thread. Here's a simple reflection of the sun on the Airstream at Grand Lake Saint Marys State Park, a few days early at the We Can Tow It Women's Rally in Ohio last month.
