Well, an Airstream sure beats a tent for the purpose!

Although the tent has its advantages as well in this respect. Outside, the pine trees the openness, oh, never mind, I need to plan a trip somewhere!

'Scuse me, I was misunderstood. I was in shock, and did not apparently make myself clear.

I was not offended. It takes a lot to offend me, and ya really have to really try hard. (It has been done.)

I can see endless double entendres possible here...

- "hitching" and an airstream
- "coupling" and an airstream
- "junk in the trunk"
- generating enough power/ heat/ whatever
- etc., etc.

Let the games begin.

We call our trailer " The Silver Sleeper " however that's when we are through ,and ready to sleep. What all do we do in our trailers --cook--eat--sleep--rest --watch tv--play --entertain friends --shower--bathe--make love--shave--work on crafts--WHAT ELSE !!!

Now .....

..... I realize I am North of the Border ......

..... and I may be somewhat naive .....

..... and, of course, there may be cultural differences ......

..... but don't some States require a Concealed Weapons Permit to engage in certain straight-forward activities???

Checking out the "belly skins"
how about those"rear quarter segments"
and please forgive me, but this conversation would not be complete without mentioning the"banana wraps".

I may have to revise the number upward. At this rate of posts, 34 so far today, there would be over 12000 posts by the end of 2012.
I guess it is more interesting and entertaining than filiform corrosion.
Will we be getting tips on "how to" like on the other threads??
Dave

Based on this thread, I think I now know why my wife has been saying:

"She would like a new axle "in" the trailer for a better ride"

vs.

"She would like a new axle "on" the trailer for a better ride"

Well off to dump my tank (alone),

Enjoy,

Excellent thread, Fly. You'd have to go a long way to beat the intimacy of the snug little bedroom in our Airstream; it's perfect for snuggling up in on those dark wet nights, of which we've had many in 2011!
