Sex in an Airstream

I was just thinking how the "Airstream lifestyle" might be condusive to great nookie. A change of scenery - the excitement of new places and all that fresh air can work wonders.

Added to that is the spatial intimacy of a trailer. We have no choice! As you squeeze by your significant other to get the carton of milk out of the fridge.....things get lit (besides the propane).

I'm a bit slow to figure things out, but I was thinkin' about my last trailer outing. A rig with a younger couple pulled in beside me. They got out, attached their water hose - attended to the usual things. And then I never saw them for two days! I was wondering if I should bang on their door to see if they were okay - and then it hit me. Things were getting "lit" inside.

I bet they had dropped the kiddies off with the grandparents for a few days, hitched up the passionmobile, and away they went. Not a bad reason for buying a trailer, actually.

Perhaps this is something the RV retailers should promote more. It sure would boost sales.....

You better get a bumper sticker for the trailer now. If this trailer is rocking don't come knockin. How about a leopard fur interior. You could get one for the tow vehicle as well, gas, grass, or A__ nobody rides for free.

We find that the trailer offers various challenges and opportunities.

We have a twin, and while a twin offers many advantages, it's a little crowded for two people in one bed, and we have to be careful of hitting heads on the roof lockers. Of course, when we're traveling without kids, there's the gaucho.

I wish I could figure out a good way to add a latch to the bedroom door. Our kids have been taught to respect the privacy of adults but it's still a concern.

FAN,

Should we worry about your "mile high club" attitude toward your new Silver Tube.

Please don't attach any sexual connotations to the name "Cloudsplitter".

Sweet Streams.

Did they put the stabilizers down?

Airstream

I predict that this thread will exceed 2000 posts by the end of 2012.
On the Airstream itself, why do you think they put stabilizers on there?
And did away with the whip antennas?
But all secrets should not be reveled here. Some, like this topic and the placement of the floor safe's, should be kept from public disclosure.

Umm, some things are just too private to share on the internet.

I CANNOT BELIEVE a thread has been STARTED and PEOPLE ARE POSTING ABOUT THIS!

Heck, I dunno. . . this thread promises to be a lot more interesting than the endless wrangles about hitches, tow vehicles, Wal Mart parking, and guns!

Supplemental oxygen recommended above 10,000 feet!

(Or maybe at lower altitudes for some of us older folks!)

Didn't mean to offend sensitivities, Maggie. I think it's a viable discussion that could lend itself to a bit of amusement too. A refreshing change from "leaks" etc. (no pun intended).

Actually, I am a female, Goal.

And I do count the rivets.

I asked my salesman (by email) if I needed to consider those extra stabilizers to make sure the trailer would stay rock steady, and he wrote back, "what's going to go on in that Bambi???"

I wrote back, "um, my sewing machine."

Perhaps for those who would be offended, a little signage hung on the door would be appropriate.
