what would Wally think ??
WB said he developed the Airstream because Mrs. WB "didn't like you sleeping on the ground." Me thinks there was a lot more to it than that. "Sleeping" was the euphenism for "something else."

Thousands of trailers later, factories in two states (at one time), around-the-world rallies, to say nothing of this robust Airstream Forum, one has to ask themselves this: Isn't it astounding - what men will do for "a little bit?"

Maybe the reason for all the insulation is to ensure the Airstream doesn't become and AirSCREAM. Ummmm......

"its better to wear out than rust out" WB

The intent of Airstream- "Make the product better"

and remember

We have a rocking chair at home that could really be an adventure. One would have to wear appropriate attire, though. You know, padded helmet, knee pads....
Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy, and taste good with ketchup.
