At least with the ladies, those loose rivets come and go. (depending on your beverage) And they are hard to repair without disturbing one adjacent. And, of course, we are always wishing/hoping for that miracle of original condition.

With this darn equipment, once you see the loose rivets, the problem just seems to get bigger as each day passes.

Wink

If I remember correctly those loose rivets held the struts together, with some careful work you could get them to open and close real SMOOTH

From an unrelated post

comes the perfect accessory for your aluminum love nest, an electric fireplace.

Think of it. . . fireplace on low, bearskin rug, bottle of wine, suitable music on the stereo. . .

And, the electric fireplace has one advantage over the real thing--no occasional flying sparks to burn a hole in your bearskin rug. . . or your bare skin!

Remember rug burns?

And then there were those romantic moments on the beach until you learn why they use sand in sandpaper.

From a womans perspective, knee pads would not be helpful in that situation.

That would of course depend on your position...

Highly dependent on the texture of the carpet. Why do you think they called it shag carpet?!
