Nope. Never immerse yourself in what you consider garbage, because you'll feel dirty when you realise what you really want to do is tell everyone they're not as "good" as you, and you wouldn't want to be that kind of person... Right?

But you did open the thread.

Are you really weird? Unlike some who like to pass judgment and make assumptions about lifestyle, I would never do same.

Everyone is fighting some kind of battle. If we all can help lighten the load via a bit of humour, that's my definition of a deed well done.

Airstreamers are a fantastic bunch of people. I could have never gotten through year one without their knowledge, help, and support.

Oh, the drama. I am sorry you feel that way. I would love to sit down and have a little visit with you at a rally,
but that is your choice.

Good-bye Jim.

I think you mistook her meaning. If you think the topic of sex in an Airstream trailer is ugly and perverse...don't open the thread. Easy as that. Aren't you glad you don't pass judgement on other people?

Zig, relax friend! Take a break from the computer, buy a bottle of Opus (Acqua Panna if you prefer) buy your gal a lingerie gift card, and take the Airstream out for a long weekend. Respectfully serious, UAPachyderm

Jim, you are again making assumptions and generalizations.

How do you know if you really have little in common with me or anyone else? For what it's worth, I do not drink. Nor am I much of a party goer because it's not the kind of situation where one can really get to know someone.

What I like is sitting around the campfire with a homemade marshmallow bobbing around on the top of a steaming cup of hot chocolate and hearing about the adventures of Airstreaming from someone who has seen and experienced much.

Anyway, I wish you well, and hope that open road isn't as lonely for you as it has been for me.

Then why are you still lurking and reading this thread?
If you do not like this kind of humor, leave the thread. (Hint***we can see that you are still here from the listing at the bottom of the page)

Wink Maybe we should start over from the beginning...

Life in reverse By George Carlin

"The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends.
I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time.
What do you get at the end of it?
A death.
What's that, a bonus?
I think the life cycle is all backwards.
You should die first; get it out of the way.
Then you live in an old age home.
You get kicked out when you're too young, you get a gold watch,
you go to work.
You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement.
You drink alcohol, you party,
you get ready for high school.
You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little baby, you go back into the womb,
You spend your last nine months floating...
Then you finish off as an orgasm."

Fly by night, that may be possible, but not at a forum rally where booze is number one. Just check any rally thread. jim

Be honest Zig, when you read the joke in this thread about "being happy and sad at the same time" ... surely you laughed because I nearly broke a rib. I know we are being childish at times but that one laugh made the thread worthwhile for me.

Jim, Jim, Jim.....you said you have never been to a rally, so isn't that another assumption?

If you look at some of my pictures, you will see a bottle of wine (unopened) in the lounge area. So, you probably assumed I'm some kind of wino. The fact is I won that bottle of wine years ago. I keep it in the Airstream just in case a future guest would like something to drink.

I have checked the rally threads and have seen little evidence of it being some kind of drunken binge. What I do see are some great potlucks.

Goodie, goodie, because I sure love to eat!

When one goes to a rally one should never, never, bring up the subject of "POLITICS -- RELIGION -- SEX -- or GUNS".
Just talk about "filiform corrosion" and everyone will eventually fall asleep.
