Christmas and New Year's holidays are a week apart. If Christmas comes on a Tuesday, New Year's comes on a Tuesday.

What was the last year in which Christmas and New Year's came on different days?

A man known for his stinginess threw away his trusted hair comb after it lost a tooth.
Why?

No answers?
Maybe it got lost in the shuffle. I'll repost

Christmas and New Year's holidays are a week apart. If Christmas comes on a Tuesday, New Year's comes on a Tuesday.

What was the last year in which Christmas and New Year's came on different days?

Aren't Christmas and New Years on different days EVERY year? One is Dec 25, the other is Jan 1. What am I missing?

Weekday, not calendar day. What was the last year in which Christmas and New Years came on different week days?

Ok - if that wasn't the trick - I'll say 2015 because Jan 1, 2015 was a Thursday and Dec 25, 2015 will be a Friday. That's the last year they came on different days 😃

(And it will be 2016 next time, then 2017, etc... &#128516

Yes??

The trick is you're making us think of the Jan 1 AFTER Christmas but if we think of the Jan 1 BEFORE Christmas, every year is the last year they aren't on the same weekday.

If I'm wrong on this - I give up! 😃

Which is better, a bottle in front if me, or a frontal lobotomy?

You're the sharp one
Most people will think of the current 2 week period instead of New Year's day from the current year.

I'm going to have to come up with some tougher ones, just for you

A full bottle in front of me is much better than a full frontal lobotomy. However, I've only had the former but accused of having the latter.

Oval one mile track. In order to qualify for the race, the driver must complete two consecutive laps at an average of 60 mph. He drives the first lap at 30 mph. How fast must he drive the second lap to average 60 mph for the two laps.
