Portal Pictures Slot Machine

I keep my Forums view on "Portal," so I can see what posts are active and follow them. At the top of this view are three pictures that change when I refresh my browser. I have been playing Pictures Slot Machine with them, and just now I got three pictures of bulkheads!

So I have won something, but unfortunately, the payout is not posted.

Oh well. Time to spin, uh, refresh again! Yes, it's a slow night and I am easily amused.

I love the portal pictures. Sometimes I see a picture and think it's interesting, only to click on it and find it's either mine, or a rally I attended!

I get distracted by the portal pictures quite a bit.

You are so right. There are some really interesting ones in there! That's funny about some of them being yours.

And I've been trying for three mohos in a row, but I think that is like getting three cherries on a real machine.

Okay, you two need to back away from your keyboards, go out into your respective shops, and work on your trailers...........

So there's actually pictures on the portal page? I guess I should go there from time to time.

I think refreshing 3 bulkheads should be rewarded with some sort of prize...

I got a bunch of trailers on the shore of some lake, a blown out tire, and a bathroom. I would win if we were playing lowball.

I encourage everyone who posts pictures to add a title and some details. Nothing more disappointing than clicking on an interesting picture and not knowing where it was taken or who is in it.

Two interior end caps and a shiny trailer. Dang!

Freshair gets it!

Three dots, 2air? Do you have a current browser running? Do you see the section that says, "Airstream Photo Gallery"? That area holds three random pictures from the photo gallery, and they change every time you refresh the Portal page.

Bulkhead = the wall between the living and bathroom/bedroom area, like on an airplane between coach and first class.

Ok, so now that I'm checking the Portal page more often I'm noticing how quickly the new members are ramping in. Holy smokes.

And so far I have not had even two pictures the same at the top so I can see why you feel like you won the lotto on that one.

Waaah! The pretty pictures are gone!

The site was down for me last night for a good while and now when I can get back in, the Portal view no longer has the picture bar! I went to Options to see if something got bumped, but it still says to show images, avatars and signatures. Anyone know what's going on?

Unhappy Me too

Hi Susan,

I guess you were just having too much fun. I miss the photos too! I was always seeing something interesting. Led me on many interesting expeditions through the forum.

Mods, Please, bring them back. Please.
