This album translates well to the AS way...many great tunes.

Especially the last song..."If This Is Goodbye"

Hey, R.C.
Something tells me that you have a really great music collection.
I have that c.d. with EmmyLou, but have to admit that I have only listened to it once or twice. Guess it's time to pop it in again.
There is someone else that I love alot with a voice that reminds me of EmmyLou. That would be Nancy Griffith. She has many great C.d's that go well with camping and outdoor fun. She is a very good songwriter and selector for her own albums.
Bob

Thumbs up Mark & Emmylou

Have seen Nancy Griffith several times on ACL. Hard to beat Austin Tx.
for great music.

The Roadrunner album has been one of my favorites, the last track Mark
wrote after listening to some of the cell phone calls from the Twin Towers.

The song,"This is Us", can you listen without smiling, give it a couple turns, it's a great album

Well, I don't like any music while camping, so here's my vote. Enjoy!

Anything by the Wailin' Jennys, but especially:

One Voice YouTube - Voices of the Sacred Headwaters

Arlington YouTube - Arlington

Long Time Traveller YouTube - Pickathon 2006 - Wailin' Jennys - Long Time Traveller

And The Be Good Tanyas:

The Littlest Birds YouTube - The Be Good Tanyas - The Littlest Birds
Perhaps one of the best traveling songs ever, IMHO.

Not mellow, under-the-stars music, but a great song by the Tanyas:
Light Enough To Travel YouTube - light enough to travel

Roadrunning

Well I done as I said, And popped it in for the ride to work today. By the time I got to the job I wanted to keep on going and listen to EmmyLou and Mark harmonize to the sights of spingtime. Darn-it though I made that turn at the job and went to work. I listened to the rest on my way back home. Thanks RC for bringing that album up. It truely is some great driveing music. I'm gonna leave it in and listen again tomorrow.

The Jennys first album, "40 Days", is also excellent. Canada puts out some great folk musicians!

Perfect Camping Music Playlist

For bright, upbeat instrumentals, I always enjoy selections from The Nuclear Whales -- and the Bugler's Holiday is one of their greats.

The Nuclear Whales: --- Bugler's Holiday

Another option for upbeat if there are old car fans in the audience is "Beep-Beep!" (The Little Nash Rambler) by The Playmates.
