I'm partial to a bottle that is opened with a corkscrew.

Of course an old fashoined jug with a stopper is always nice too.

And on those hot afternoons...an ice cold beer, or two, three... is mighty fine.

We have become partial to drinks made with Jameson's Irish Whiskey. The signature drink of their distillery in Dublin is made with gingerale, but a hot whiskey on a cold night warms you to your toes.

Jameson & Ginger:

1 shot Jameson whiskey
4 ounces cold gingerale
slice of lime
serve over ice

Hot Whiskey:

1 shot Jameson whiskey
1 sugar cube
1 slice lemon, studded with 3 cloves
4 ounces boiling water
Mix and enjoy, traditionally in a clear glass mug

Tequila Mockingbird - serves 2
In a cocktail shaker, add the following:
2 shots tequila
1 shot triple sec
1 shot light rum
4 oz Pina Colada mix
4 oz strawberry daiquiri mix
shake and serve in 2 glasses over crushed ice
Garnish with fresh strawberry and/or pinapple chunk

I believe the official Airstream cocktail is likely marked - not by its name - but by its hour - and I believe that to be 4PM .... perhaps 3PM on stressful days .....

In my case it is a Vodka Martini .... which is especially smooth when enjoyed under the awning of our Bambi - and overlooking just about anything .....
