Searchin' isn't the same word as Searchers. One is an act, another is descriptive of a group of people - someone who performs the act of searching is a searcher.
I'm sorry to hear that you aren't pleased with the way that this game has been played. Just to be sure that I was on solid ground, I went back to page 461 of the thread and read about forty or more pages and did indeed find many, many examples of parts of words that were "picked" from one song title to create another.
One example was a song title that had the year 1938 in it, and the next post was by the group "38 Special", and everything just went along.
Nobody used just one letter as you put forward though.
In any event, we respect your right to play or not play, just don't feel that you can't change your mind and come back later, if you would like.
I would suggest that we bold the parts we are using, to make it clear.
