Speaking of tough! We had some "boneless beef ribs" off the grill last night that were so tough the dogs couldn't chew the meat! Now that's tough! That cow musta' had an eyepatch!

Aha, Hijacking ... seems to be the thread for me today .

It's so very easy to hijack a thread, because a thread takes the flow of a normal conversation ... one thing leads to another, it's sort of like a campfire chat. Talking about KOA's, leads to Good Sam, leads to thunderstorms, leads to train whistles, leads to good places to stay, not so good places to stay and experiences on the road ...

If someone hijacked a thread I started with this normal progression from topic to topic ... well, I think I'd want to meet up with them on the road ... birds of a feather and all that .., Wendy

Good Morning America! ....I've got to get a new line!

Hijacking

The clue is in the title! and very apt for us 'streamers

It's about the journey - not the destination!

And yet we don't live in our Airstreams until they're parked.

Ah yes, just when I thought "The Argue Thread" had taken over, "Hijacking" comes roaring back to life. Lead on McDuff's........to use an overused colloquialism.

Hijack? ......how far???

Which great opponent of Cartesian dualism, resists the reduction of psychological phenomena to a physical state, and insists there is no point of contact between the extended, and the unextended?

Whenever I see some poor kid in ASDA(Walmart) holding up a sign that says, "Can I Help?", I want to ask him that question!

What chance I get the reply, "I dunno that!"

Monty Python fans put your answer on a postcard and send it care of:

When someone asks me, "Can I help you?" my stock answer is, "No, thanks. I'm beyond help." I absolutely love the bewildered looks that answer always gets me!

Does that have something to do with the Olympics?

Are they over yet?

This essay made his opposition to the Cartesian theory of the animal-machine obvious....

Comedy

"Henri Bergs(o)n?

Never 'eard of 'im!

Neither have I!"

Are the last lines of "Spot the Braincell"

In which a housewife experiences divine inspiration by naming HB when she's, "never 'eard of him"

...and Karl Marx loses a sofa and two chairs because he can't name the winners of a football trophy!

They say that to analyse a joke is like disecting a frog.

...nothing of any real interest is learned

....and the frog dies!

A priest and a taxi driver both died and went to heaven. St. Peter was at the Pearly
gates waiting for them.
'Come with me', said St. Peter to the taxi driver.
The taxi driver did as he was told and followed St. Peter to a mansion. It had anything
you could imagine from a bowling alley to an Olympic size pool.
'Wow, thank you', said the taxi driver.
Next, St. Peter led the priest to a rugged old shack with a bunk bed and a little old
television set.
'Wait, I think you are a little mixed up', said the priest. 'Shouldn't I be the one who
gets the mansion? After all I was a priest, went to church every day, and preached
God's word.'
'Yes, that's true. But during your sermons everyone slept! When the taxi driver drove,
everyone prayed!'
