My late sister and her husband had a catering business. They would make spam sandwiches, mixed with relish and mayonaise (did I spell that right??) and they were the most popular sandwich on the coffee trucks. That and onion and mayo sandwiches. How am I doing for staying on topic?

I love Spam.
That reminds me of a funny thing, I love old Monty Python shows too.
SPAM! Did someone say SPAM?
Speaking of English comedians, who here misses Benny Hill as much as I do?

Best thread

This post is non-linear thinking for sure. Spam sandwiches or onion sandwiches, like them both. Esp homegrown onions fresh from the garden.

Yes Codybear there is room for more AS at the beach. It will cost you a bit to get it over here but the location is the best. A photographer is using our Bambi for a photoshoot prop this weekend. Wouldn't that make a great shot with three or four AS at the beach?
(C'mon someone please find or make a smiley with aloha, I've googled and froogled and can't find one)

The Monty Python Spam Sketch

From the second series of "Monty Python's Flying Circus"
Transcribed 9/17/87 from "Monty Python's Previous Record" by Jonathan Partington (JRP1@PHX.CAM.AC.UK)

Scene: A cafe. One table is occupied by a group of Vikings with horned helmets on. A man and his wife enter.
Man: You sit here, dear.
Wife: All right.
Man: (to Waitress) Morning!
Waitress: Morning!
Man: Well, what've you got?
Waitress: Well, there's egg and bacon; egg sausage and bacon; egg and spam; egg bacon and spam; egg bacon sausage and spam; spam bacon sausage and spam; spam egg spam spam bacon and spam; spam sausage spam spam bacon spam tomato and spam;
Vikings: (starting to chant) Spam spam spam spam...
Waitress: ...spam spam spam egg and spam; spam spam spam spam spam spam baked beans spam spam spam...
Vikings: (singing) Spam! Lovely spam! Lovely spam!
Waitress: ...or Lobster Thermidor a Crevette with a mornay sauce served in a Provencale manner with shallots and aubergines garnished with truffle pate, brandy and with a fried egg on top and spam.
Wife: Have you got anything without spam?
Waitress: Well, there's spam egg sausage and spam, that's not got much spam in it.
Wife: I don't want any spam!
Man: Why can't she have egg bacon spam and sausage?
Wife: That's got spam in it!
Man: Hasn't got as much spam in it as spam egg sausage and spam, has it?
Vikings: Spam spam spam spam (crescendo through next few lines)
Wife: Could you do the egg bacon spam and sausage without the spam then?
Waitress: Urgghh!
Wife: What do you mean 'Urgghh'? I don't like spam!
Vikings: Lovely spam! Wonderful spam!
Waitress: Shut up!
Vikings: Lovely spam! Wonderful spam!
Waitress: Shut up! (Vikings stop) Bloody Vikings! You can't have egg bacon spam and sausage without the spam.
Wife: (shrieks) I don't like spam!
Man: Sshh, dear, don't cause a fuss. I'll have your spam. I love it. I'm having spam spam spam spam spam spam spam beaked beans spam spam spam and spam!
Vikings: (singing) Spam spam spam spam. Lovely spam! Wonderful spam!
Waitress: Shut up!! Baked beans are off.
Man: Well could I have her spam instead of the baked beans then?
Waitress: You mean spam spam spam spam spam spam... (but it is too late and the Vikings drown her words)
Vikings: (singing elaborately in RealAudio) Spam spam spam spam. Lovely spam! Wonderful spam! Spam spa-a-a-a-a-am spam spa-a-a-a-a-am spam. Lovely spam! Lovely spam! Lovely spam! Lovely spam! Lovely spam! Spam spam spam spam!

I know this has been asked before but I need to know since I want to do it. I am replacing the hoods on my AC units. What I need to know is if the low profile has a higher resonant sound decibel in a two inch rain during a three hour period than the standard design? My neighbor's niece is a light sleeper and she once told us she was interested in camping and could possibly come with us someday. Thanks in advance for all of the good advice on this subject.

two inches in three hours. hmmm, you need pontoons, Brother, not ear plugs. You'd have a better chance in a trailer, not a MHO with that big piece of noisy iron ballast. But to answer your question, the resonant frequency is in the whale range, below your hearing.

Besides, in that kind of rain, it ought to be cool, so why do you need an air conditioner?

Chaplain, if it wasn't you, I'd ask if this means you're a "favorite uncle", but I'll let it go this time...

since we are already off topic...

what wine would you serve with a spam dinner....rainy day, with fan on...to your native american guests...your choice of entertainment could be bruce willis, benny hill, or monty python....

also who does the dishes...i would vote for the neighbors neice....but likely would end up doing them myself...

back to wine...a red...white...full flavor...east coast or west coast...a private lable or plant lable...

ps...that cow thing laughing was hysterectomy....
