Try out this series of NYT articles if you want to know something about stupid. Errol Morris

A quick summary: If you know you're stupid, you're actually smart.

"Stupid is as stupid does" ~ Forrest Gump
Another problem IMHO is that too many folks mistake belief for knowledge and don't realize the difference.
Kubrick's "Mind Shaft Gap!" comes to mind...

That's why we need studies. Only after 5 or 10 years of studies of what the problem is, will we be able to determine, with more studies, what the proper weapons are. Then in another 25 years can we develop them, hopefully beating the Star Wars record of incompetance (this phrase can be read two ways; make your own choice). Congress will be told that every Congressional District will get some money from this and then they may approve it. However, since many in Congress are zombies already, filibusters in the Senate may block funding.
So, that's why I'm going with the vampire and werewolf option. Self help and good friends are the best approach when the zombies come.
Right now they are frequenting some saloons I spent too much time in years ago, so that's the place to start the attack.

So G, when ya back in our "neck" of the woods. You must of hit every saloon
north of Vancouver by now. 1st annual Hijacker's Rally sounds like a winner.
Washed, and waxed the rig, I'm ready to roll. She looks sweeter than your
mamma's sweet potato pie.
I can bring enough Tanqueray #10 to turn us all into zombies, and I'm sure Zep
can keep the vampires happy with the red stuff. You have olives?

The Canadian Broadcasting Co. has promised to tell which came first on The National tonight. I am waiting, though I'll bet on the egg.
Oh, I missed it and the local Calgary news is on. I blew it again. I should have asked when I was in Chicken, Alaska.
Where were you guys in Chitina for the hijackers' rally? Or maybe you were in the Airstream caravan we saw around Ft. St. John, BC, yesterday—you were late.

So, if a guy was going to be somewhere yet to be confirmed on the southern WA coast in late July, what would he need for a beginner kite? Something trick but not crazy? The last kite I had was brown paper and it did a Charlie Brown thing....
Doe people make their own or do they buy them? What do you look for? What about the tail? What would you use for string or do they have something ring-dang-do now that comes with the kite?

Doe people, or female deer as we call them, have their own tails. The "stag people" also have tails and antlers too. It takes a lot of wind to make them fly. They are related to reindeer who can fly, have their own tails as well and both genders have antlers. Glad to help.

OH man, I can't believe I doe'd that. I even spell checked it.
So, about those deer that fly like kites. It seems to me that when a Seagull lets loose it leaves one heck of a mess on the old Airstream. I can't even imagine what Doe and Buck do-do would do to the trailer......
Where does one tie the rope? On the Doe that is - we've got the other figured out.

Doe flying is best done during tornado season. Check weather reports and make friends with tornado chasers. Once you find out where the tornados are likely to occur, you have to catch a doe, something somewhat problematical. A large can of nitrous oxide spray should make them very happy and sluggish. If that doesn't work, use it on yourself and you won't really care much anymore. After you catch a doe, attach a very long rope onto their radio collar (previously attached by wildlife authorities) and chain yourself to a storm cellar. This is best done in the American midwest or the Canadian prairie provinces and requires a 200 mph or better tornado.
Some people try to do doe flying during hurricanes. You need a very big hurricane with 200 mph winds for this and they are very rare. It is also hard to chain yourself to a swamp. The tornado option is best. You could also try it on top of Mt. Washington, NH, in mid winter, but it will be mighty cold.
For further directions, contact 2air. He is an expert on Kansas and has a long history of doe flying. He will probably deny this as he does not want anyone to know he is practicing for the World Doe Flying Cup in 2012, but try to gain his trust by offering him nitrous oxide and cookies.
