You see their signs for miles before you get anywhere near the turn off. Never been - all the hype turns me off when traveling along the interstates, I like the mom amd pop stuff.

The Spam Museum is in Austin, Minnesota of course, the headquarters of Hormel.

yep...been there; drank that! wish the extra bottles had made it home...

love the ginger ale...always in search of a fine ginger brew...

infact i was thinking exactly about ginger ales and root beers when looking at those americana images...and i was sippin' a sprecher rb at the time....
http://www.sprecherbrewery.com/sodas.php

hot and spicy ginger brew...it's good for ya!

we need 2 have a soft drink rally...everyone brings a case of some really good, cane sugar beverage....

we can temper the sugar high with something more potent later...

cheers

Hall of fame

If you count the spam museum, I've been to 7. BTW the airstream has been with me to all of them. I even gave a fleeting thought to buy some Hormel stock after seeing their fine museum.

Don't forget the museum "Standing on a corner in Winslow Arizona". I drove by it with my TT once and got a few waves...

Hey Chaplain Kent,

Are you on a serious Hall of Fame or what????..Same answer to you: if there was a Hall of Fame at the Spam Museum, I didn't see it!!!!

We did go to a Sports Hall of Fame in Kansas City Missouri, though..they had baseball, bowling, football and basketball..check it out!!

Also, did you know that Otis Redding died in the waters in Madison in your home State?..

They were "sitting on the dock by the bay" as his plane sank in the waters of Lake Mendota.

Is Otis Redding in the Spam Hall of Fame?

Is Otis Redding in the Spam Hall of Fame?

There was a "Dock of the Bay" bar in Bay Saint Louis pre-Katrina - gone now. Once owned by a former band member. I believe they had spam sandwiches on the menu.

Well, Otis is in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in Macon (not a joke, it's true).

We're praying for you Chaplain. God speed.
