Tow Truck drivers are the lowest form of the Proletariat. Avoid them at all cost. Just sayin'

Not Hardly, as The Duke would say.

Fact scenario: Our daughter's car died yesterday. She called USAA Roadside Assistance to have it towed here to our house. The tow driver dropped the car on the street in front of the house in the road, nobody was home at the time. Problem is, we live in a really bad "curve in the road" (think blind spot and homeowner liability). I just happened to arrive home as this guy was driving off. Stopped him and told him the car couldn't stay there. The driver immediately became abusive to the point of swearing at me. Lets's just say this guy was a jerk and leave it at that, 'cause there's a lot more to the story. Well, then, the game is on, right? Ain't gonna happen to me again, period.

So now I have a new opportunity, right? I have a new "hobby" for the next month or so. That sunufabeach is never going to have the occasion to threaten another Veteran.

You pick yer fight in life, right? I'm gonna win this one (legally, of course).

Jim

Jim, I know on Festivus (yesterday? today?) you are supposed to tell your grievances, but perhaps just talk to the pole and don't go public with this. Of course, I'd love to know the rest of the story.

Just remember that when the bad guy is within your stun gun range, you are within his range as well.

A sad side effect of close range weapons...

I certainly agree this is an issue, and, hopefully if someone approaches and an LED light goes into the eyes, this will suggest the best choice is to back off. I cannot imagine having to use this, but it mainly gives me a feeling of less vulnerability in making my crossing to the coffee...LOL

Maybe I should make my own coffee in the morning....?

In a time when holding anything in your hands may provoke a deadly response, stun guns or bananas may be more dangerous to you than you think. A man was arrested here for pointing a banana at 2 nervous deputy sheriffs. Luckily he wasn't shot. I wonder if the banana is still in the evidence room?

I'm not a coffee drinker, but I imagine the convenience of making your own in the morning is better than paying a rather inflated price for someone else to make a cup for you. Me, I just need hot water to drown a tea bag. 😀
