Help for my legless flock!

Just stumbled on 15 pink flamingos for cheap at a garage sale, all missing legs. I can order legs on the Internet for about $35. There must be a more economical answer.

They're just steel rods, I would think they would be fairly cheap, maybe something at a hardware store? Maybe some of the rods used for toilet float balls? I'd go over to True Value, Ace or one of those that have been around for a long time and ask one of the guys/gals over there.
