N2XBW- Matter of fact I do remember Bill Cosby as "Cutting Edge" but only because my late Father moonlighted as a bartender in a place called "Faraghers",late 60's or early 70's, and Cosby entertained there. Faragher's was located in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. I was in my late teens then and remember Dad talking about it.
Speaking of entertaining I'd like to send you a thumbs up for everything you post on these forums as the wife & I enjoy, and crack up, reading everything you come up with.

Well, I just had the opposite happen. I know that I'm not getting old enough when I locate the NPS site and find that I have to be 62 rather than just 60 to get a Golden Age Pass (now rechristened, too).

I find as I get older that I once again realize the beauty in the little things I did as a child. A caterpillar and how it crawls across the ground, the squirrels chasing each other in the trees and their incredible acrobatics, the sound of the birds and how beautiful they are, watching the clouds for images, and on and on....... These are all things I noticed going through my teens and making my life, but didn't really take interest in. And now that I'm closing in on the other end of this time around, the little things seem so much more interesting now. Especially when viewed from somewhere I've managed to park my Airstream of course

Hi, getting older when...... you go to the parts house [automotive, appliance, hardware, ETC.] and before the young clerk can find what you want, you have to explain to them, what it is or help them find a picture of it before they can tell you "I can order it, and you have to pay for freight charges too."
