Airstream hacked! Anounces Three New Models
Jackson Center Ohio. Luxury travel trailer manufacturer Airstream confirmed today that it had been hacked and top secret images of next year's models had been stolen. The announcement came just hours after after the anti-secrecy website Alumaleaks released photos it claimed were 2018 Airstreams still on the drawing board.
Airstream spokesman Lee Pitre confirmed the hacking. "Yes we have a leak problem, but we are very experienced at fixing leaks here at Airstream and we are confident that that the leaks are under control ."
Pitre also confirmed that the images posted by Alumaleaks were prototype 2018 models. "Thor is aware that many customers want the quality and styling that Airstream offers but settle for some other brand because they better fit their needs. We hope that with these three new models we can convince more people to buy Airstream. "
The new models include a long awaited 5th wheeler, a triple axel toy hauler and the Boondocker, a off-road model with 16" ground clearance, a 250 gallon fresh water tank and optional 1.5KW solar/lithium power system.
