So glad we have time to plan. I haven’t decided which way to go either.

If you do go through Wyoming, I’d love to meet up. Chadron is just across the the Nebraska NW border.

Ladies,
I plan to join Maggie at Jackson hole KOA on August 25-28, then caravan to Oregon. If anyone is coming thru or near Denver...and would be interested in caravaning to Wyoming, I am up for that. Just let me know, okay? Evelyn.

I've made reservations at the Jackson Hole KOA as well. Anyone coming through San Antonio would be welcome to join up in Texas somewhere to form a caravan to Jackson Hole then on to Oregon. Just let me know.

The tentative plan from Jackson to Oregon is a rather meandering 3-4 days or so, as it is about 1,000 miles on out there....

We were going to take major highways, do some sightseeing at anything of interest, not rush too much....

It sounds terrific but August 25-28 might be a little too soon for me to head out. I’ll have to wait and see. I know it is beautiful there and so much to see. I have several trips planned in September.

Judybug, if you come near Denver(s.e.) we could meet and caravan to Jackson hole, if you like.

Alpha stream, if you decide to go, we could meet you...maybe in Cheyenne and travel together.

What do you think, ladies?

ColoradoLady, sounds like a winner to me. We can make plans on where and when to meet closer to time. This is going to be a really great trip. Can't wait. Maggie, I had hoped to see some sights on the way so meandering sounds perfect. Makes me want to break out in song "Rocky Mountain High". I'll spare you though and just hummmmmm.

It will be a great adventure for all of us.

We might need to think about daily destinations, and then reservations.

Evelyn and I had discussed just pulling over somewhere, or a WalMart parking lot for the overnights on the way out, but I'm not wedded to that.....and, if there are several or more of us, that could be impractical.

I don't want to plan it tho...

I used to love John Denver....probably still know the words to all his songs by heart.

I booked a site---but was too late for the L loop. It is full, so we are in M54, booked from Sept 7-12. I look forward to meeting those I do not know. We are planning to head south along the coast line after, not sure what route we will take form SC to get there.

Wonderful, Gloria, and see you at Alumalina soon.

If you have plenty of time, might take a northern route and come down from Seattle...that is a beautiful drive.
