Saw one of these at a Tin Can Tourist rally yesterday. A Wally Byam Holiday can ham. Predates Airstream evidently. No pictures, no camera. Man said he thought only 9 made and only knows of 6 , if I remember correctly. Hope someone has a photo to post! Jim
After checking the internet I found these were built in the early fifties by Byam to see if the can ham euro style would sell. Did not sell them under the AS name. Really sorry about no picture. Jim
There also was a polished bubble. A polishes Avion truck camper, as well as other AS and can ham type trailers many of which I never heard of before, and vintage tow vehicles. This was in Gainesville fl and some of these combos came from as fae away as Nj and elsewhere. Jim
Here's a super nice guy with a Holiday who lives in Georgia-- we have met him at Springstream and Falluminum, the rallies at Hiawassee organized by AlanSD. What a cool trailer!!!! I'll try to look and see if we have any photos.
