Vintage Airstream Rally, Sou'Wester, Seaview, WA July 13-14

So my family has a reunion every 3 years at the old beach house. My family has owned it since 1887. It's pretty cool.

Anyway, we're taking our Airstream up again, and this time I thought I'd try the RV park that's half a block away. (We usually just park in the driveway).

It's called The Sou'Wester and has been there forever, and it's really cool, but it's been run down and/or closed in recent years. I never knew what was going on with it. So about a year ago, somebody bought it, spruced it up, and got it going - full steam ahead. It looks like they have a full schedule of events, musicians, and fun stuff.

I emailed them looking for an RV spot and they replied that they're booked full with an Airstream Rally. What? That's awesome! Well, kind of -- They're full.

I can't find any information about it. I only found a couple local clubs, but it wasn't on any of their calendars. I'm waiting for a return call or email from the Sou'Wester, but just thought I'd ask this group to see if anyone knows about it. I will post more info as I learn.

I didn't realize how many WA Airstream clubs there are.

I've put the Sou'wester on my "gotta stay there someday when I get the trailer that far out there" list.

Keep us posted if you get to stay there or at least drop in to check it out. I can usually get my partner interested in a beach in a place that isn't as warm as the Gulf Coast beaches!
