The Best WURSTFEST Rally in Texas

Amy and I would like to welcome everyone to come and join us for the Best Wurstfest rally in New Braunfels, TX. Information will be updated as it becomes available.

What is Wurstfest?
Never been to Wurstfest eh? Here's a snippet.

Wurstfest is "A unique celebration rich in German culture and full of Texas fun located in beautiful New Braunfels, Texas! Enjoy good fun, food, special events and the finest in Alpine and Bavarian Style Entertainment."

If you enjoy sausage, beer, and entertainment (and who doesn't), then this is a can't miss event. There are even carnival rides for the kids!

There is a group rate for those interested in attending the festival which should be less than $6.00 per ticket.

Where are we staying?
We will be staying at the Rio Raft and Resort. We already have the rally information booked with the campground. Most sites are full hookup with cable. The park also has WiFi.

Reservation Details:
The park currently has 25 open sites of which 15 are full hookups. To receive the "Rally" rate, we need to have 12 trailers. This rate will be $14.50 per night for two people, and $4.00 a night for each additional person. With under 12 attendees, the rate will be $23.00 for two people, with the $4.00 per additional person. You can reach the campground at
877-RIO-RAFT
or 830-964-3613.

Schedule of Events:

Friday:
Arrival. Hot dog roast provided by Steve and Amy. Bring a side dish if you like.

Saturday: Wurstfest
for interested folks (Official hours are 11am to 12pm)

Sunday:
Breakfast potluck for those interested.

Want to being a non Airstream guest? No problem, just have them call and make reservations for the Best Wurstfest Rally. All spots are first come first served, so make sure you call and save your spot now!

If Wurstfest isn't your cup to tea, consider joining us and then tour New Braunfels with its' eclectic shopping areas and the Gristmill Restaurant!

Thanks, We will take a serious look, but I think it conflicts with the opening date of deer season where I hunt in Louisiana.

I know you'll have a good time! When we lived in Texas we attended the Wurstfest and it was a blast but that was pre-Airstream.

If we were closer to you geographically we would definitely be there. You and your wife really know how to put together a rally. We hope to see you again sometime.

Mmmmm.... beer and sausages!

This seems interesting. What kind of numbers are we looking at so far? (# of trailers committed.) I need to ask the doctor what his schedule is like... he's sacked out already and I don't remember offhand which rotation he'll be on in November.

We won't be able to make it. We have our unit rally a couple of weeks after that and kennel fees can add up.

Wurstfest

We're new members from Midland. We are really interested in attending, just need some minor scheduling adjustments. This could be a great test trip for us, and we love the area. We'll be watching for more info, should have our schedule firmed up by Friday. Thanks, Stan & Nancy

Welcome Stan and Nancy,

We are looking at a small group for this rally, but the festival and good times will be great. Hope your schedule firms up as a GO!

Steve
