Steve and All,

Very sorry fellow Wurstfesters, but we must cancel. By some odd miracle, the Army will deliver our household goods from Germany a couple of weeks earlier than expected, meaning tomorrow!

I know we will miss a great time, which would also have been our introduction to all ya'll.

And, now the previously booked-solid Rio Raft RV Resort has an opening for someone else to enjoy. If someone grabs it, I'll only be charged the small cancellation fee!

Have a great weekend at the Fest.

Sorry, we won't be attending, just to far from home right now. However, we did keep the Airstream, It was just to hard to get to let it get away. Hopefully we will get some healing done this winter and will be ready to go in the spring. Stan

Well I think I am going to take friday off. Therefore, we will be there much earlier than originally planned. Woo hoo

We are departing Austin a little early to arrive there around 3:30 PM. I told Frank to behave this weekend so if he gets out of hand let me know.

Haha. That's a good one and very funny. Yes, I'll be attending as well.

But he's already scheming how he and Skye can gang up on you. I'm on their team as well ... as you would suspect ... but the difference is that I respect the other team and play nicely ... I don't get into the joking around.

I will be trying to get a spot for Friday night ONLY camping. Sophia and I will try to attend while Christina stays home with our still sick Julia. Plan is to get up at a reasonable hour on Saturday, motor back home and rally the girls for a return to New Braunfels to meet up with the group.

Sorry to hear the Julia is still ill. There were two spots available once Whizzo and Stan had to cancel. Speaking of the cancellations, sorry to hear that you all won't be joining us. Still planning on having a great time, just with fewer folks. Frank/Mike and Skye...I'll try an reign in my more conservative older uncle (that's you Chuck) so we have a great bipartisan event with enough drinking for uncle Joe or uncle Chuck.

Now..I just took about 40 poblanos off our plant here at the house. I will make a fresh batch of our Screaming Flamingo Hot Sauces (I have a few shirt attendance prizes), and hope to be there around 2 or 3. Amy will likely drive separate so she can grab Collin after classes let out.

Man, we would love to get in on all the fun, but we will be in Lubbock for Scotty's regional cross country meet. I'm sure you'll all have a wonderful time. I'll be there in spirit!

Chuck, during Cross Country season it is impossible for Lance and Co. to get to rally events..(Unless they are HOTC events)

. We hope Scotty does what he does most of the time, and kicks major butt. See you in the Summah time!

Any thoughts on a movie for Friday/Saturday night? We have many new releases, but RV is always a favorite!

Chili for the hotdogs would be a great and wonderful addition. Actually, being that we are two days out I guess we should start a list for Friday night. Go ahead and copy the list and add your item to it.

We will bring a cherry dump cake on Fri (and some ice cream) I am not packing much into the cupboards or the fridge for this trip because we will most definitely be eating at Wurstfest for dinner on Sat (probably lunch as well - since I gotta get my German food fix!) Hoping to get up there by mid to late afternoon....wish we were leaving tomorrow...oh well, see you all on Fri

JAX! Last I heard you were Airstreamless. We have two folks coming in SOBs (both motorhomes) so if you REALLY want to join us...then please consider doing so. I will hopefully get out to Rockport next summer sometime.
