All of us really enjoyed Canyon of the Eagles. We're thinking about an outing on Valentine's Weekend and since the following Monday is Presidents Day, we have a 4 day weekend! Anyone have any interest or suggestions for a group camping trip in the Texas Hill Country?
Tin Hut,
Thanks for the information about the North Texas Rally. I am WBCCI member 17601 at large. I have only been to one recent Airstream Forum meet at Canyon of the Eagles, so I don't think it would be right attend North Texas Valentines event but thank you for the heads-up.

Members at large are always welcome at unit rallies, at least in our unit. We believe in the more the merrier.
I have tickets for the valentines bash at Wild Basin, so I'm out. For anyone around Austin, there will be great music (Christine Albert, Chris Gage, Michael Austin) and a real fine party at Wild Basin. Log on to the Wild Basin website for more info.

We love Texas Hill country and would not pass on any future chances to come there. Wild Basin sounds great. We have accepted an invite to the N. TX. bash in Burleson. This will be our first WBCCI event, but our calander is VERY open. Hope to see y'all on-the-road.
The North Texas Unit is also having their monthly meeting this Tuesday (03Feb04) at the Hometown Buffet in Arlington (I-20 and Cooper). They meet two times to accomadate the working folks. The noon meeting is at 11:30 and the evening meeting is at 6:30.
By all means, please come and join us! My wife is the Membership Chairman for the Unit and we will be attending the evening meal. She always has the membership information with her.
I dont understand folks that think there is an influence of any kind that effects their attendance to an WBCCI event.
Especially for a WBCCI memeber of ANY kind.
Anyone with an Airstream product of any kind can attend an WBCCI event. Understand that the memebers of the WBCCI will attempt to get you to join as a member of some form. It is not a requirement. It is obvious that if you enjoy yourself, you will more than likely join the WBCCI.
As for a WBCCI member. They can attend ANY WBCCI event. That is part of being a member. It is considered good etiquette ( not a requirement) to call ahead to the Host and advise them of your plans to attend. It helps them plan for food and CG space.
Do not concern yourself with saving face. Get in your Airstream and come on down. The only way you will determine what the WBCCI is like is to see it for yourself.
