Southwest Rally

In addition to the Northwest Rally, I was wondering who would be interested in a Southwest Rally?

I was thinking some time in March, April or May. Are there any good spots that you can think of? Would Flagstaff or the Grand Canyon be an interesting one?

Prescott or Wickenberg sound great. Two more that could be considered are Sedona and the old mining town of Jerome.

we would be into a southwest rally also, but unfortunately just not now. if you decide on something in the fall (in addition) we could probably join in.

all the places you mentioned are great except i don't think jerome has any camping nearby ( i do love jerome)

a great, fabulous place is "Joshua Tree National Monument" close to palm springs. only 4 hours from phoenix. groovy boulders and awesome landscape.

We plan to be in the Southwest during May. Keep us posted on the place and date. We'll try to be there.

The wife and I are passing throough the SW, draw a line from El Paso to Zion, during May (14 to 21). It would be fun to spend a night with a gathering in this area. Currently I'm targeting a stop at Chaco Culture but other than that, this section of the trip is open.
