Oh WOW I would not want some of you to think I may have fallen asleep in my trailer all cozy from all the fire wood that Laura and Brock have been so kind to stack so that we can have this great fire....and missed Carol's great news.....
I too heard the great News from Carol - Grammy Extraodinaire ..... Carol is on top of the world
Huge Congratulations from way way over here too!!!
Today I have been busy composing a piece special for the little bundle of joy to celebrate his arrival... Entitled 40 Days and 40 Nights
And it is the perfect piece to finish off my latest set of compositions into my 8th album - A Manner of Waiting - at some point I think I should do something with all this music....
Too bad I can not upload an MP3 to this site so I could share it with you. Maybe Carol knows how??
And I think I mentioned that I was out taking photos yesterday with all the beautiful snow - and spent hours clearing all the snow. Here is a special one that I have also dedicated to little Noah...
I will post some other shots of the snow shortly

Great work Sharon! Lovely photo/words can't wait to hear the song!
Brock I love your decor ideas!! Fun!
Quantum I'll be the more you go to these things the better of an idea you'll get of what you want. The forum is great as you can look up info about the years/models you want and see what the plus/minus stuff is. We had a 79 we just loved. Now we are in a 96 I like it alot but miss the oven. You get the fun of looking and visiting at rallies, wish we had done it the way you are! Happy hunting

I had managed to get the top part of the drive up by the road done before I ran out of gas...Thought the Blower looked somewhat suspended in time. She has been a great winter companion this year we have spent many hours together...
A little family of dear just down the road from our place...I went for a short drive to see what I could find in the way or nice winter scenes - what I should have done was brought my snow shoes and gone for a nice hike up the river..But I may not have found the trail and be lost all by myself in the wilderness - not a good thing to do up here
Well the rest is as you see them...the little red boat was such a nice contrast - wish I had a tall wide angle for that one - I would have got the whole tree in behind it to give it so much more magnitude - but hey she is just a Kodak 5.0mp 10X zoom Digital - what can I say....
......soon I will make my decision on my new DSLR - anyone out there have any suggestions and why? I am looking at mid to high range amateur DSLR

Beautiful, Sharon! The deer and the stream photos are my favorites of these. We know about your lake; please tell us about the stream. Is it on your property also? Thanks for sharing your snowy day. ~G

I live on Stoney Lake Road and the first road north of us is Northey's Bay Road The road my car is pictured on. Just down that road a couple of miles is Eels Creek - the creek flows south from Eels Lake just east of Silent Lake Provincial Park. It is a feeder lake to the Trent Severn Lakes.
Our waterfront property is on Stoney Lake located in South Bay. However our Main house is across the North side of Stoney Lake Road. Our Marsh also drains through little fishers into stoney lake - it is fed by Long Lake South which we can walk to through the back bush.
We loved the area for many years as boaters - so that is why we decided to move here and soon will retire - in lucky 7 years...
here is a link you might find interesting.... We have these locks all around us...it really is a pretty area with a lot of "lock" history.

Hey if you don't want to drag your trailer through the border then just come with car and a bunch of people -renting houseboats is a lot of fun too...and we have no shortage of lakes around here to play.. and those who want to come with trailers you know we have the room tee hee - you just have to know how to back up your trailer - and if you don't then you will have to trust me to do it for you
Yes Laura - summer or better still the fall is a really nice time - very quiet all the kiddies go back to school and the cottagers are minimal. Lakes are quiet for kayaking and canoeing.
